It’s officially October! Fall is my favorite season and I’m beyond ready to begin fully embracing all things fall. September went by so quickly due to traveling and few different trips. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my recent stories from Bermuda. It was so beautiful and the perfect end to my summer destination travels. Now that I’m back home I’m ready for sweaters, scarfs and boots. While the weather may not be ideal autumn weather yet, I’m making it work for me by pairing dresses with boots. This dusty rose dress is perfect for this transitional time for those of us who aren’t experiencing fall temps. It’s light weight yet still long sleeved. It also just came out in this moody wine color and comes in a classic black or this muted charcoal color that would both work with a variety of autumnal tones.
Over the knee boots are an easy go to when the temps aren’t cool enough for jeans. This rich, warm burgundy pair are perfect for this seasons color trends and the budget friendly price tag make them even more appealing to wear all fall and winter long.
I found a few other affordable dresses that work this time of year or later as the temps drop, paired with a soft cardigan like this one or this one. This pink wrap dress has a slightly structured silhouette which makes it versatile for work or play. It can be worn with boots like I did here or with simple pumps. This one is another budget find under $50 in a beautiful burgundy shade and would work with both a cardigan or a more structured jacket like this one paired with over the knee boots or booties.
