Over Labor Day weekend I met some of my favorite girls in Palm Springs for a weekend full of sunshine. Everything about Palm Springs makes me want to pull out my bright pieces with a vintage twist, so you can imagine what my suitcase looked liked for the few days we were there! I brought this Soprano striped ruffle dress that fit right in and got me extra excited to see That Pink Door and other iconic Palm Springs spots. The classic stripe pattern with the added feminine ruffles made for the perfect accent to all the colorful midcentury modern photo ops. I had to grab these vintage sunglasses that are only $12 to add to my vintage vibes not to mention they’re the must-have silhouette for the season. I also added these fun, vintage-y earrings I’ve been wearing on repeat lately.

I found a few more darling dresses that I loved so much I wanted to pack them all! This pink one has a shoulder-baring neckline and dramatic ruffled bell cuffs that can easily be dressed up or down. This pale blue polka dot adorn one also has a flirty off the shoulder silhouette that can create a vintage Hollywood look with a swipe of red lipstick and pearl earrings. This classic gingham print with femme bell-shaped sleeves can also be worn with a bright pink or red lip, a pair of slides and a classic bag to create yet another old Hollywood glamour look for your next trip back in time. I loved how Palm Springs made me feel like I was transported back to a previous decade with old vintage convertible cars, famous architecture and music playing on the record player. The desert town has some serious charm that I know I’ll be back to soak up some more.
